Case Study: Alonissos - Promotion of Culinary Tourism & training of professionals.
Action: Familiarization trip with specialized Food and Travel journalists/bloggers in collaboration with the International Food, Wine and Travel Editors Association (IFWTWA) which has been operating since 1950 and brings together 3,000 members from around the world working with leading media. As part of the trip, a seminar was held by an expert of the association on matters of culinary tourism.
Results: The action was implemented in September 2015. The association promoted the destination with reports and before the trip.
